Orangatang Knuckles Longboard Skateboard Truck Bushings

Crafted for carving, pumping, dancing, and freestyle longboarding, Orangatang Knuckles are the ultimate high-energy bushing upgrade. The pack includes two insert barrel bushings, two gumdrop bushings, two large cup washers, and two small cup washers. The specifications are as follows: diameter of 0.95”, height of 0.64” for the gumdrop and 0.59” for the insert barrel, with a total height of 0.665”. The formula used is Randy Thane, with durometers of soft (orange, 87a) and medium (purple, 90a). Orangatang Knuckles are compatible with most longboard trucks, including Paris, Bear, Randal, Carver, Gullwing, Tracker, and Caliber.

The responsive design features two unique shapes for highly customizable turning. The insert barrel has a small “step” to fill the gap between the kingpin and the hole of the hanger, reducing play for a more precise response. The gumdrop is a smooth and subtle blend between a barrel and a traditional cone shape, providing enhanced agility. This design allows for ultra-smooth turn initiation and improved interface with the washers.

With a highly tunable configuration, the insert barrel is placed on the bottom and the gumdrop on the top in the standard set-up. However, double insert barrels or double gumdrops can also be used. Additionally, replacing the included cup washers with flat washers allows for a less restrictive, highly linear turning rate.

Compared to Nipples, Knuckles provide easier turn initiation with less resistance, quicker edge-to-edge response, and a greater ultimate lean angle. They are the ultimate high-energy bushing upgrade for carving, pumping, dancing, and freestyle longboarding.
